Mount Rainier Glaciers, Waterfalls & Wildlife Tour from Seattle
Mt. Rainier National Park Tours
Escape to the Cascade Range for adventure, exploration, learning and just plain having fun!
The "mountain" is an active volcano encased in over 35 square miles of snow and ice, surrounded by old growth forest and stunning wildflower meadows. Old and new growth forests, lakes, waterfalls and river valleys connected to Glaciers are just a few of the sights you will see. You will take out the binoculars and spot for birds and wildlife, marmots, coyotes, elk, deer, fox and black bear roam the mountainside.
Your naturalist mountain guide will lead you out on a short hike along the Nisqually Vista trail or possibly something a little more challenging. Remember to take a photo, but also make sure to take a deep breath of fresh alpine air, bask in the moment and soak up the dramatic scenery.
You will end this memorable adventure tour by descending down the road to where the parks roots began in Longmire. Keep your eyes peeled for deer in the meadows making their late afternoon journey to the river's edge.
Please Note: Rates for this tour vary by day of the week. When you choose your specific date on the availability calendar, the rates for that date will be displayed.
There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
Due to the immense popularity of this Mt. Rainier full-day tour, you will be exploring "the other side" of the mountain, the Sunrise Visitor Center on Saturday departures. Sunrise is equally stunning and magic, but kind of a "local secret" - this means you get the best quality experience during the summer season and skip the crowds! Sunrise is the highest point that can be reached by vehicle in the Park or the Carbon River Glacier, which is the lowest glacier in elevation in the lower 48! You will not be disappointed!
24 Hours Minimum Advance Booking Required. Minimum age is 6. Tour includes hotel pick-up from downtown Seattle hotels and cruise terminals. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please order online or call to order or for more information.
